Description
The original is 24 x 30 oil on canvas. It is the Goddess Freyja with her two cats which are in Norse mythology often shown with her. Freyja rules over her heavenly field, Fólkvangr, where she receives half of those who die in battle. The other half go to the god Odin's hall, Valhalla. I have a special fascination with this Goddess and have painted her many times perhaps because I married a military man, a warrior. I had this particular painting professionally scanned for the highest quality prints. Embellished, painted giclees are available on commission, feel free to contact me.
